Kwanzan Flowering cherry always gets attention when it is in bloom here at Raintree! Double pink flowers cover this tidy tree in mid spring. The form is like an inverted cone, growing to about 10′ on this rootstock. Foliage emerges reddish in spring, turns green for the summer, and becomes yellow with orange and red in the fall.

For full or partial sun and well-drained soils. Does not produce pollen or nectar; cannot be used as a pollenizer for other cherry trees. Best planted where springs are not warm and humid.
