Rubus idaeus ‘Caroline’

Vigorous and full of healthful nutrients and antioxidants, this heavy-yielding, everbearing red raspberry produces loads of delicious fruit on primocanes from late August until fall, then on the same canes (now floricanes), in the late spring/early summer of year two. The wonderfully tasty fruit is large, red and firm, and can hold for up to a week in the fridge.

Proven successful from coast to coast, Caroline responds well to warmer summer temperatures by ripening earlier. Canes can be exceptionally long, to 9′, and can benefit from trimming before top flowers set in early summer.
